“ Hey Susan! I just saw the message about the 5K in Durham on March 27th. There's also a 5K in Gaston (Northampton County) that day that's a yearly event raising money for KIPP: GCP and KIPP Pride High. It's a great event because there's lots of students and the 5K is actually all around the cotton fields/old peanut fields where the school was built. It's a drive out there (1.5 from Raleigh, 2 from Durham) but totally worth it for a good cause and a fun run, if anyone's interested! :) ”
