This Meetup repeats every week on Friday until September 17, 2010.

Who's ready to get some Turkey Creek??? Today's run will be a counterclockwise route beginning at the Harrison Entrance parking lot and heading down Reedy Creek Lake Trail. From there we'll turn right onto Reedy Creek and take that to the end where we pick up S. Turkey Creek then N. Turkey Creek. When we hit Graylyn we'll turn left and head back down Graylyn then left on Reedy Creek back home with one last "treat" being the painful hill on Reedy Creek Lake, finishing back in the parking lot. I will try to be there by around 4:50 and we will head out to the trail at 5PM, so come on out for a hilly afternoon run at Umstead.

TODAY'S RUN WILL BE ~10 MILES AT ~9mm pace.

The route today will start at the Reedy Creek Entrance where Harrison ends, we'll run to Reedy Creek Lake, then right on Old Reedy Creek, left on S. Turkey Creek merge with N. Turkey Creek, right on Graylyn for about 1/4 mile, then back down to a left on Old Reedy Creek, then a right back up Reedy Creek Lake back to parking lot.

NOTE: On the rare occasion my schedule can get turned upside down and I may be unable to make the start time or perhaps even be able to run at all, so PLEASE be sure to check the posting an hour before start time. If in doubt you can always call my cell.

Where: Main Reedy Creek entrance in Cary - Harrison Road. Meet in the parking lot by the restrooms/water fountain.
Organizer: John Williamson
Cell: [masked]
Start Time: 5:00 PM

Actual proof that at least 9 people are crazy enough to run in this heat/humidity! ;)

PLEASE make sure you bring fluids for today!!! I'm not planning on running anything sub 9mm and maybe will do 10mm. It's just too hot/humid out there to go fast.

I'm definitely fine with less miles, especially since I'm still in injury recovery mode. We can all play it by ear. :)

John, I'll just meet you at the start but may do an out and back route-length unknown, depends on how I feel!
