Want to get your run out of the way at the crack of dawn? Welcome the opportunity to have to shower only once during the day? Accomplish these things PLUS the benefit of enjoying the beauty of Umstead in the morning!

We usually have a slower paced group (about 9:30ish miles) and a faster paced group (faster than 9:30... not sure how much faster because they're way, way, way ahead! We will be running for about an hour. We can run Company Mill, a beautiful trail that passes by the old mill - left at the bridge - crosses Reedy Creek - winds around and crosses Reedy Creek again - then back to the start - very scenic! - Or Loblolly to right on Turkey Creek to right on Reedy Creek... Other suggestions for routes are welcome!

We will be meeting at the entrance to Umstead off of Harrison Avenue. This is the point where Harrison dead ends into Umstead. Since the gate is still closed at this time, we will meet outside the gate where we park.

This will be a regular weekly run so if you can't make it this week, there is always next week! Please note that this week we'll start meeting 6:45am instead of 7am. This should allow more RTR members to come out and still have enough time to take a shower prior to going to work.
