St. Patrick's Day is a big celebration here in Raleigh and this 8 k race with post-race party is one of the best events all year!! We will meet at 2:30 for warm-up and socializing at the registration table on the right hand side as you face the table. If somehow we miss you, just run your own race and afterward call my cell at [masked]. We will meet up for post-race pints on the sidewalk out front of TirNaNog for a few minutes at 3:45 and then move inside ( depends a bit on the weather but bring a jacket or sweatshirt to wear after the run).
Note: You do not have to participate in the run to meet us for the post-race fun!!

Let me help you from my high school teacher background...If you take the ratio of of 5k and an 8k then multiply it by the ratio of of X to 3.1 miles when you solve it using algebra you will have your answer. :-)

      Meat Sweats!!!
Had a great time and ended up staying for the post race activities. It was great to see that two members won 1st and 2nd for their age groups. Anyways, even though I didn't see ya, thanks for organizing Leslie!

Tough hilly course - needed the luck of the Irish just to finish!!
    •  The race and day were perfect. I never found the group after giving up asking a few people if they were with RTR. Next time the leader might pick a color shirt that the rest of the several hundred runners are not wearing. Oh well, maybe next time.
    •  It was a lot of fun. I really like this race. Very well run.
