They say early bird gets the worm -- but it's getting close to the holidays and the shorter daylight hours mean it's still early! (for me anyways )
I'll just be doing about 4-6 miles at about a 9-10mm pace. As usual, those that want to go longer/faster/shorter/slower are welcome to come on out
---------
The Sunday morning run usually has a variety of members that run different paces/distances. The main course is an out and back on a bridle trail, so you can't get lost and can go as fast or slow as you feel. Run distances in the group range from 4-20+miles and paces from 8mm-12mm (or even sometimes walkers) so whether you're a beginner or a seasoned RTR machine, there is likely someone to run with!
After the run we usually meet at the Carolina Cafe. Don't forget to ask for your 10% RTR discount there.
We'll start introductions at 8:45 am, and the run promptly by 9:00 am at the latest - so please try to come on time. If you need directions or want us to wait for you, call Larry's cell [masked] prior to 8:45 am.
Important to note for those who haven't been to the Sunday run at this location yet...there is no bathroom (except the woods) so plan accordingly. I'd recommend bringing water along on the run if you are going longer distances.
For those who have not been there, once you turn onto Old Reedy Creek Rd, you'll pass a water treatment facility on your right and you'll go over a one lane bridge. You'll see cars parked on either side of the road and you'll see a fence to the left where we meet . Click on link here.
Hope to see you on Sunday!
