My sister did this and said she cut it short for 7 because she didn't want to fall 14 more times!

Actually, looks like it's going to be mighty cold and rainy so I'm going to seek shelter on my warm couch when I'm done tomorrow. The rain and mud's going to make it a fun adventure.

Ooooh, now that is a good possibility, plus it has the added bonus of being on my way home too.

Did the 14 - lots of mud, and I enjoyed every second!
    •  This was the muddiest trail race so far for me, ankle- and at times knee deep mud. Just trying to keep upright demanded full concentration with every step slipping and sliding. No way to get a good time under those conditions but I still had a blast (especially now that I have feeling back in my toes ;-). R@R is still one of my favorite trail races, I suspect they will have to close these trails for the next month or two.
    •  Very very muddy but lots of fun.
    •  Wow, my first trail race, and boy was it memorable! The first 3 miles were the muddiest and slipperiest and by far the most difficult. Really had a blast. Was hoping for hot chocolate or hot coffee after the event, but, there was none.
