Come out on Sunday AM and join us for a run at Umstead.

We usually have a variety of members that run different paces/distances. The main course is an out and back on a bridle trail, so you can't get lost. For those who want to run longer or a different course there are other options that we can discuss that morning.

After the run we usually meet at the Carolina Cafe. Don't forget to ask for your 10% RTR discount there.

We'll start introductions at 8:00 am, so please try to come on time. If you need directions or want us to wait for you, call my cell [masked] prior to 8 am. If you are new, I'd recommend bringing my number with you in case you get lost on route.

Important to note there is no bathroom (except the woods) so plan accordingly. Also I'd definitely recommend bringing water along on the run although there is a water fountain after several miles.

Directions - Once you turn onto Old Reedy Creek Rd, you'll pass a water treatment facility on your right and you'll go over a one lane bridge (DON'T go over the larger bridge that crosses over route 40, park before that). You'll see cars parked on either side of the road and you'll see a fence to the left where we meet (see google link).
